This project was the second annual URBAN Alchemy to take place in Maritime Heritage Park in Bellingham, WA.  It was sponsored by the City of Bellingham, The REstore and Allied Arts of Whatcom County.  About 20 folks came to help clean and create this temporary art work.  All the collected litter was used to create a ray of light transitioniing in color along the color spectrum.  Trash from this clean-up and installation was used to create a series of pieces on panels, utilizing encaustic and mixed media techniques.
