Reborn
This project was completed for the Recycled Art and Fashion Show in Seattle, WA. I collected every bit of trash along the entire length of Ballard Avenue for six hours and then created this piece the next day. I worked on it from the morning until shortly before the show opened. I "discovered" the title at the reception when a visitor pointed out the word "Reborn" on a ripped page from the background of the piece. The garbage was reborn as an exuberant, dancing spirit.
